A cold January day is coming to close as I sit and wait for one last train before the sun falls below the horizon. The signals here where red just a few moments ago, a train is coming.
The train, Q137, calls out Rt13, then Boyd, Greenwich, then the signal before Boughtonville, Edwards, as it makes its way west at 50MPH.
Unfortunately, the sun is faster than the priority intermodal and sets a few moments before the train makes it to where Im waiting.
Another day has closed, a good day. Another will come tomorrow as I stayed the night. It is these two days and the four days that I spent in Chicago in November that was most surprising weather wise. Two back to back sunny days in January when predicted to be cloudy and four back to back sunny days in November. It somehow makes up for the entire month of September being completely junk.
it's a nice picture where everything is good, colors, light, it has something. You could however have made it more interesting in composition or by cropping it.
