Despite the snow, its close to 40 degrees and would rise into the 50s. There was so much snow that by the end of the day, there was still much snow left.
The curve of the track, the smoke trial that billows over the top with the most amazing colour pouring from the funnel, the cold, snowy landscape compared to the roaring blast of the furnace visible in the glowing engine windows...Even the angle of the train. Wonderfully orchestrated photograph.
While I agree it is artistically beautiful, watching our planet be killed doesn't help me like this.
Yeah, air pollution is concern, and great strides have been taken to clean it, unfortunately, there are far bigger issues than just air pollution. Possibly something like WW3. Pollution isnt going to mean jack shit if the world is glowing. However, I believe that if we do all off ourselves, nature will survive. Look up "Nuclear Wolves", a documentary of how nature is thriving after the Chernobyl meltdown.
Also, most of the "pollution" you see is either ash, which falls to the ground, and steam, IE, water vapor. Not all, but most.
You can expect the next World War to be over maintaining the dominance of oil.
Whats this smuggling that you talk of? Do you have proof?
I do believe you might be right about WW3.
Great shot, impressive !!
