Mid-Western Ohio is relatively flat but a .3 percent grade will slow a 18,000 ton coal train to a crawl. Here, coal that was mined a thousand miles away is within 80 miles of its destination at Cleveland. Its hard for me to believe that the weather was this NICE roughly exactly a year ago.
I say NICE because the roads can be snow covered, and it can be 20 degrees out but as long as theres sun, its nice. Oh, and I did have plenty fun with my rear wheel drive truck on snow and ice covered back roads chasing trains.
