Alliance, Nebraska, home to a large BNSF yard and crew change point and serves as the base for most of the BNSF coal trains that load on the Powder River basin, as evident by 3 loaded coal drags sitting waiting crews while a yard job switches coal hoppers. Its a nice quiet town and the railroad is clearly the largest influence to the town. One can also tell its a small town because after 9PM, NOTHING is open! Hungry? Forget it!

Resembles UP's small yard in Salina, KS. Not much for PRB coal, but there are usually a few Colorado coal drags there at any given point (UP runs coal from SW Colorado near the 4-corners area to the east and south US). Though Salina's big enough to have things like a 24-hour Walmart, some truck stops, and even a strip club.
