Conrail by DragonWolfACe Conrail by DragonWolfACe
When Norfolk Southern unveiled the heritage fleet, specifically the Conrail heritage unit, I imagined this shot in my head. I didnt think I would get this shot so soon. Ive been reluctant to share this as I dont think the NS higher ups know the fuel tank still says Conrail.

This photo reminds me of how much I miss seeing Conrail units going around here in New York and up in Massachusetts..

they might know about the fuel tank, remember Norfolk Southern is really for the preservation of stuff like that.

Thinks.
Got it, we wait for the NS high ups to deiced to go check on the tank, and we cover the Conrail logo, with white paper/tarps, like in "The Train".

I don't think the higher-ups care if the tank says Conrail: it's theirs either way.

That is pretty kick ass, dude! She is in DPU service here in Illinois on the 431 coal train between Hillsboro, IL and Mount Vernon, IN.

Love the composition on this one. This shot goes to prove that putting some thought into a photograph before shooting it really pays off. Well done!

Oh...I could do it. But Id rather be good at taking the photo than making a crapping photo good in Photoshop! (That is an insult to some big headed young wanna be photographers)

Just kidding! I always go for realism in train shots! I save PS for "developing" and weird shit like "Insekt Attack! "[link]

I at least caught Conrail as Conrail! Heritage Units are a myth to me ...never catch any! :(
