Note the large stickers on the two engines. That is their actual owners numbers.

The SD40-2 in the background is Wheeling and Lake Erie 6351. The stickers and papers marking the actual owners where put on all the engines and all the cars for their trip from Nittany and Bald Eagle back to the Wheeling and Lake Erie over Norfolk Southern rails.

The Unit actually received that damage from nailing a Box car (model) on the end of a train attempting to get in the clear on a passing siding. The Train's locomotive then cuts off and chases down the Runaway with our heroes (Chris Pine and Denzel Washington) at the throttle.
