Dive!

I can't actually write a critique, since I don't have a watchamacallit, but I'd like to point out a few things.  

First is the membrane of his wings is billowing the wrong way, (unless he's about to crash) they should be rounded upward slightly to show the wind beneath his wings as he pulls up. 

Also his shadow would be a bit fuzzier and broken, since its on water.  

I imagined myself in his position to help understand the point of view, and I can't picture him going anywhere except the water, and sideways at that.  

Ohh, cliff-diving used to be so much fun!! Even when you crashed into the water..  (Which I did alot.) XD

Seeing this brought back some awesome memories. My first thought when I saw this was "Oh, oh! That's me!", and though it isn't, I still had to comment.
