Somewhere in Arizona

Description

Somewhere in Arizona, between the California state line and Kingman, AZ, the Santa Fe Super Chief roars eastward at the 90MPH track speed. Its ABA set of ALCO PA-1 motors pulling hard on the long streamlined passenger train with sand being added for traction. The sky starts to brighten in a orange hue as the sun slowly starts to come up but dawn is still an hour away. Inside everyone is asleep but by mid-day, the train will make its station stop at Albuquerque, NM, some 500 miles away.

This all being back in a seemingly better time. The train, named after Native Americans, honoring them I tend to think. The train is now called the Southwest Limited, a more politically correct name. It was renamed after Amtrak took over the train in honor of such a iconic train at the request of Santa Fe. The locomotives, made by a long gone company, ALCO, the American Locomotive Company. And of course, when train travel was the ideal way to travel.

Ive only done two digital drawings of trains, both of Santa Fe warbonnets. PS9, 8 or so hours. I wasnt going to add any detail or color to the train but decided to continue detailing it anyway.
