This is a great picture! I like the way the wolf's fur matches its surroundings. The whole picture has a nice woodsy color and feel. The whiteness of the wolf's face immediately focused my eyes on the wolf. I love the way the branches are more closed on the right and feel more open toward the upper left, where the wolf is gazing. (does that make sense?) Oh, and I like the wolf's expression! It's so alert and focused. (and cute!)
The only thing that slightly bothers me is how the top branch, the one closest to the camera, is slightly in focus. I feel that it distracts my eyes away from the wolf at times.
Overall, this is a very well shot and pleasing photo to look at. (I've been staring at it for the past 10 minutes, lol) Again, great photo, especially considering how difficult it can be to photograph animals. Definitely, one of my favorite wolf photos I've seen. Sorry about my terrible critiquing skills.
