Anthrocon and new job

I wrote a journal about Anthrocon last year, and so here is another one. For those who dont know, Anthrocon is basically a big furry convention...anthro animals...

Last years journal, I put I was going to go all three days this year. I didnt. I again just went on Saturday. But unlike last year, where I only had 4 hours to commit to it. This year I had unlimited time. I COULD of very well gone all 3 days. But alas, I was at the con for 10 hours!  And wow was it fun! I thought very hard on going back again Sunday and almost did. I should have. Furries, they are so awesome and I met several who are just amazing!

They had 2 dragon meet and greets and I went to both but was too shy to introduce myself. They brought up several good points and good books to read, which Ive read all except one. The con really hit me harder than last years con. I really like the furry community. If anyone was there on Sat, I was the one in the Spike coat. The rest of the weekend was spent railfanning around Pittsburgh and Conway. It was a good July 4th weekend. Oh, I shot the fireworks at Pittsburgh!

I have a new job that Ive been doing for 6 weeks now. A complete 180 in what I have been doing since I started working. Im now a laborer in construction and currently working to build one of the gas processing plants in the area. Its hard work at time but its far more rewarding than dealing cards.
